Farmed Fish and Sustainability

When it comes to fish, sustainability is becoming more and more important. Our consumption of seafood puts a terrible strain on the populations of the ocean, which are having enough trouble with pollution and the increased acidity that comes with global warming. This is why our Lynnwood Japanese restaurant believes in the importance of farmed fish.

According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, farmed fish accounts for roughly half of our fish consumption. In this way, endangered fish populations are being given a fighting chance, and communities that depend on the bounty of the ocean are better able to survive. Continue to support sustainable fish, and allow the world of the future to continue to enjoy sushi as we do today.
